Mall Dragon

I ventured out today to meet a few friends at the Sutra Mall. When I arrived at the front entrance this beautiful dragon greeted me. I have no idea why it was set up...I know of no specific festivals happening now. But this Mall is a Chinese owned Mall- during Chinese New Year there were amazing decorations...perhaps today the owners are simply adding art! This is what I LOVE about being in another culture: the colors, the celebrations, the rituals, the art and traditions...fabulous. Please notice the pictures look a bit foggy. That is because I got out of the car which was cooled by aircon...and into the humidity which is brutal...and my lens instantly fogged. OH humidity how I have grown accustomed but not fond of you.
