This is our beautiful friend, Yen with Genevieve tonight. Yen's family owns one of our favorite local
restaurants around the corner from where we live. She has been a part of our lives since our very first days in Malaysia. She has helped us learn
Bahasa Malay. She has nurtured us with beautiful food. Celebrated with us. And always offered the purest kind of friendship. her family as well. How we will miss her!
And this is our take away from Yen's
restaurant tonight. Nevi and my favorite:
Kway Teow Pattaya(tasty wide noodles wrapped in egg) and
Nasi Thai (Thai style rice). Brilliant! Delicious! The essence of
Tungku Impian!
